SWOT and SoWOT™
The SoWOT™ analysis is a trademarked process developed by Pivot Performance. The process makes it easier for your team to match available [or acquirable] resources and capabilities to the competitive environment in which you operate. It is instrumental in strategy development as well as the selection and ranking of your tactical options.
Internal factors in the organization are classified as strengths (S) or weaknesses (W). Those external to the organization are classified as opportunities (O) or threats (T).
The SoWOTTM is the systematic review of the SWOT results where you align strengths and weaknesses with opportunities and threats to maximize the impact of your actions.
